Payments

How can I pay for my order?

All payments are processed securely via Stripe.

Do you use coupons?

Look for coupon codes on our social media sites. You must meet all purchase requirements stated to receive a discount or promotional offer. Coupon codes cannot be combined with any additional sales or promotions.

Do you charge Sales Tax?

Missouri Sales Tax will be charged to all orders shipped to Missouri addresses.

Refunds & Cancellations

Do you offer refunds?

Refunds may be requested within 14 days of purchase. Because of the time, preparation, and resources involved, to be eligible the product must not have been used.

If you believe there has been an error with your order, please contact us using the contact form on the page and we will review the situation. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

What is your cancellation policy?

Once your order has been processed, we are unable to make changes including combining orders, modifying shipping information, or adjusting order details. If you need to cancel an order, please contact Shack on the Rock via our email and we will do our best to stop the order before it is prepared. But once it is processed, it cannot be cancelled.

What if my product is damage?

If a product arrives broken or damaged, please send us a photo along with your order number to our Shack on the Rock email. We will be happy to send a replacement. A photo is required so we can file an insurance claim.

Shipping

How much do you charge for shipping?

All orders over $50 ship free within the Continental United States. We ship via USPS and use their rates for our shipping costs. 

When will my order ship?

We do our best to ship out orders within 3-5 business days. Please note during high volume times such as holidays and sales it make take longer for your order to be shipped.

What if my package is lost or stolen?

Shack on the Rock is not responsible for lost, stolen, or undelivered packages that are confirmed as Delivered to the shipping address on the order.

What if my package is undeliverable?

If your address was incorrectly entered or incomplete and it makes your package undeliverable, then your will be responsible for the shipping costs to reship your order.

After 30 days of no response, all items and payment will be returned to Shack on the Rock.

What if my product is melted or frozen?

Our products contain oil, butters, and waxes that may melt in high temperatures. Please consider this when ordering during warmer months and ensure your package is sent to an address where it can be collected promptly.

During winter, liquid products may freeze. If this occurs, rest assured the formula will remain the same after thawing and can still be used.

What materials do you use to ship your packages?

We ship all orders using eco-friendly materials.

Why should I choose handmade soap?

Because it gives you control. And control changes everything. You know what’s in it. It’s better for your skin. It’s more moisturizing.

Homemade soap is less about being fancy and more about treating your skin better on purpose. 

Are your products vegan?

Most of our products are plant-based with the exception of goat milk in some of soaps and beeswax in our lotion stones. All our ingredients are clearly listed on each product’s page so you can make sure it works for you.

Do you use lye in your soap?

Lye (Sodium Hydroxide) is needed to make any form of real soap. By the time the chemical reaction between the oils and the lye is complete, there is no lye remaining.

What can I do to make my soap last?

We offer soap dishes (to help it drain) and natural Ramie soap sacks (to help keep it dry) while in use.

Store or keep your soap where there is excellent airflow so it can dry completely in-between uses. If it stays constantly wet, it will turn into goop. Still useable goop, but not so great for those looking to avoid different textures.
